Location: Centennial Park, Etobicoke
Feel free to connect with me to see the full albums from the previous mini shoots! 🙂
$300 + HST for 20 Minutes – 20 Photos delivered via an online gallery. Regular 1 hour sessions start at $600 + hst.
If you’re the type of person who’s awkward in front of the camera, do not worry! I have a slew of prompts that will get you, your partner and/or group comfortable in seconds.
Most of the photos will have that candid feel but I will happily add into the mix those traditional photos we all know someone in the family will frame. ❤️ Aside from that, expect to have fun, laugh, skip, hug and tons more!
To secure your shoot, email your preferred time/date to info@amandasoriano.com. Once the time is confirmed, send a non-refundable retainer of $150 to secure your slot.
On the day of your shoot, please do not be late as you will not be able to gain this time back. Instructions on meeting spots will be sent closer to the day of the shoot. We will be shooting, rain or shine. If it’s torrential rain and storms, the backup day will be Sunday, October 30.
Although I am triple vaxxed, during our session, I will practice physically distancing with you and will only give you air hugs and air high 5s.
If the shoot day is interrupted by new COVID-19 regulations around gatherings outdoors, I will happily move the date to a new time (within 12 months) when it is safer at no additional cost.
Whether we want to accept it or not, time is passing. Our parents are getting older, our nieces and nephews are getting bigger, our puppies aren’t puppies anymore and our families are growing. But such is life and if there’s one thing I’ve learned over the pandemic it’s to be present and grateful for what I have.
Sure we cannot freeze time but we can capture it beautifully and display and honour our memories and the people we love in our homes so that one day when future generations walk by our photos they will ask us… what was life like when you were that age? Photos tie us to our history and your stories deserve to be captured. Consider this a letter from your future self. I got you!
I’m Amanda, the photographer behind the lens (and blogpost), and I think it’s SO important you know the person behind the camera because in order for us to take the best photos, you need to be comfortable and confident with who I am.
So! Here’s a little more about me. 😊
I work full-time in Digital Communications at George Brown College. I started my photography business in 2019 and run it on the side.
I’m dog obsessed, enjoy camping, love playing volleyball and board games (Sushi Go are faves), murder mysteries, playing guitar and learning about financial literacy (kinda nerdy but it’s true).
Besides all that, I’m an easy-going and friendly person who loves staying at home and investing in her business. Boring I know but it’s hard being honest in these types of posts without sounding too boring and so that’s the honest truth. I love what I do and I love sharing it with the world. 🙂
