A permit is required to photograph at the Scarborough Bluffs. You can obtain the photography permit by calling the Client Services Call Centre – Park Bookings (416) 396-7378, option 2. The best time for Scarborough Bluffs Engagement Photos is during the week to avoid the crowds. If you are looking to take golden hour photos at the Bluffs, plan to arrive at least 2 hours before sunset. Do not park in the marina parking spots (extra long) as you may get ticketed.
If you are walking from Bluffers Park Parking, you’re going to want to take one of the highlighted channels below (see picture) to the beach. At times some of these paths are closed off and so arrive early so that you can safely navigate your way to the site. If there has been significant rainfall, you may notice flooding in different areas and so it’s best to scout the location in advance if possible.
As a designated Blue Flag Beach, Blufferâs Beach meets the strict standards for water quality, safety, services, and environmental management. Youâll be perfectly safe going for a dip in the waters here at Lake Ontario.

Located on Kinston Road, Duckworth’s Fish & Chips is a worthwhile stop on your way to or from Scarborough Bluffs. They are a popular fish and chip joint and will satisfy your cravings.
ViPei Bistro is a bistro nearby that specializes in European dishes. On top of their regular menu, they offer small group menus if you’re travelling with others, as well as a breakfast menu.
