Chantelle and Sean had their beautiful Fall, rustic wedding at the Valley Croft Event Centre in Horseshoe Valley. If you’re in the market for a beautiful barn venue that will look extraordinary in the Fall, this place is a real gem. Especially if you want unique looking chandeliers and that fairy lights look!
This is the sign from the road. It’s one of those places that’s easy to miss but once you’re there it’s easy to feel lost in its charm.
This is the barn from the outside. From what I can see online, folks either choose to have their wedding ceremony behind the barn (where that white house is) or where I’m taking this photo. Both are beautiful locations and what you choose is totally dependent on what you want the background to be. Trees or the barn. Both are beautiful! Chantelle and Sean opted for the barn background. Keep scrolling and you’ll see! 😊
The inside of the barn is gorgeous. Lots of fairy lights like I mentioned and unique looking chandeliers. Chantelle and Sean used cute little vintage plates to style their tables along with wild flowers and adorable narrow vases.
Chantelle and Sean also used these boards with cute quotes to decorate and set the tone for the reception. This one was my fave, “And so the adventure begins.”
How beautiful are Chantelle’s details? I grabbed this plate from the reception space early in the morning and used it as a backdrop for the details. I love incorporating the look of the day into my detail shots. Always makes for unique and interesting images.
The flowers are by Fresh by Leanne. This is possibly one of the best flower arrangements I’ve ever seen. So vibrant and lovely. Nearly impossible to take a bad shot with these in the frame.
Chantelle was obsessed with her flowers too. How can you not be? They’re amazing! I especially love the blue accent. If anyone ever wants to take a flower arrangement workshop, let me know!
Chantelle gifted her girls these comfortable and cute pjs – all with their names sewn into them. Gifts like these are great because they are great keep sakes and so soft!
Sean gifted his groomsmen unique socks inspired by their personalities. I love that they all have a similar look to them. So cool.
These two decided to have a first look before the ceremony in the Enchanted Forrest. I always love photographing first looks because it gives me more time with the couple – which means more photos! It also gives couples more time with their guests since these types of portraits typically happen after the ceremony during cocktail hour.
These two are SO adorable. 💕
Chantelle and Sean opted to have the barn as a backdrop for their wedding ceremony. It was a bit windy but thankfully they thought ahead and placed blankets on the chairs for guests – which their guests loved!
Chantelle walking down the aisle with her dad and her epic bouquet. Here’s something I don’t think a lot of people realize… having epic and beautiful bouquets will essentially style all of your photos! They will also help tie in your theme together in a really beautiful and consistent way throughout your wedding album.
Chantelle and Sean went inside the barn to sign the official papers and once that was done, Tom and Penny Evans (the officiants) announced the newly weds!
After the ceremony, Chantelle, Sean and I went back into the Enchanted Forrest to take more photos with Valley Croft’s beautiful outdoor chandelier. Afterwards we made our way near the entrance where we noticed a lot of beautiful fallen leaves and Fall colours. This place has so many great photo locations!
I love this shot of these two. Also how beautiful is the back of Chantelle’s wedding dress!? 😍
Presenting: The Mallards!! 👏
The reception took place in the upper barn and the party took place in the lower barn. After Chantelle and Sean’s speech to guests, everyone headed downstairs for the first dance. 💃
I don’t think I mentioned this earlier but one of the coolest things about their wedding day was the fact that Sean made all of the beer on tap. How friggen cool is that!? I wish I had those skills! Such a cool and memorable detail about their day. I think if you’re able to contribute anything like that to your wedding day, it’s a great way to make the day reflect more of what makes you, you!
And that’s a wrap! Do you have a wedding coming up here? Not sure where to take photos or have questions about the lighting? Let me know in the comments and check out my Wedding Experience Page to learn more about what it’s like working with me! And now, for our lovely venders!
