Sarah and Simon’s wedding at the Lodge on Queen was a colourful and fun-filled day with so much love and enthusiasm from both the couple and their loved ones. Taking place just around the corner from city hall, this downtown wedding venue is the perfect spot for couples looking for an urban backdrop including streetcars, boutiques, tall buildings and that Toronto vibe we all know and love!
The day began with the wedding party getting ready at the Sheraton Center – 123 Queen St W, Toronto, ON M5H 2M9, a great location with a view and only a 5-minute walk to the venue – which is exactly what you want in the city (especially during rush hour).

Although Simon also got ready at the Sheraton, we took most of his earlier portraits at the Lodge on Queen. An added perk to having your wedding here is that this venue has a great private room with bright wallpaper and beautiful window light and enough space for portraits. Oh, and did I mention it has a bar?

That’s a wrap! Thank you so much Sarah and Simon for allowing me to photograph your special day at the Lodge on Queen. If you’re still searching for a wedding photographer and would like to learn more about what it’s like to work with me, please visit my Wedding Experience Page!
Amanda is truly the best! From the very first email she was always quick to respond and was really helpful and clear when guiding us through what the wedding day would be like and what to expect. She’s very organized and loves a list as much as I do (which believe me, that is saying something!)
Both my husband and I are soooo awkward in front of a camera and hate having our photos taken. Amanda made the whole wedding day really fun and let us be ourselves. It was stress-free and she got some amazing shots of us that are natural and don’t look posed!
I can’t recommend her enough <3
