As math enthusiasts, Amanda and Jenn chose to have their wedding on March 14, 2020, pi day! For their venue they picked The Gladstone Hotel and it was a perfect day for love, good vibes and epic photos!
Amanda and Jenn got ready at the Gladstone Hotel in the Bridal Suite and Tower suite. They started together in the same room with Trisha Torres Domingo working her hair and makeup magic on these two while I grabbed the details and began photographing them!
Here’s one of my favourite shots!
Those pi symbols are temporary tattoos representative of their love for math and their wedding date (03.14) and the antler was actually harvested by Amanda herself!

Wedding Dress from David’s Bridal photographed in one of the Gladstone’s colourful stairwells.
Beautiful colourful wedding bands! ๐๐๐
Gorgeous Armani suit hanging in the Tower Suite.
That’s right… a mermaid outfit!!
Weeks leading up to their wedding date, Amanda joked with Jenn that she would show up with a mermaid outfit on their wedding day and it turns out it wasn’t a joke after all haha.
I love when my couples set up surprises like this during their day. So damn cute! Keep scrolling for Jenn’s reaction!
Amanda wen’t back to the Bridal Suite to put on her wedding dress for round 2. Since these two love nature, we decided to take advantage of the fact that The Gladstone was hosting the Grow Op exhibit during this time which meant we had access to this epic room with tons of greenery.
On a side note, this room smelled so nice with all of the plants!!
After the first look, it was time to take some Graffiti Alley wedding party shots, which if you’re not familiar is a great spot for gorgeous murals and art.
Prior to their wedding day, I asked which murals were their favourite and I prepared a route that included them all! This was great because it allowed us to get all the shots we wanted in a good amount of time so that we could get back to the party.
If you’re planning to shoot at Graffiti Alley, I highlight recommend checking out Instagram for the most recent shots so you can see what the area looks like in advance.
After walking around and taking fun photos, we headed back to the Gladstone for some intimate shots between Amanda and Jenn in the famous elevator, which is one of the oldest in the city!
The ceremony took place in the North Ballroom which is a lovely spot if you like Edison bulbs and that exposed brick wall look. It’s also an awesome spot because it connects with the cafe which is a great spot for guests to mingle before and after the ceremony.
Amazing backdrop by Made by Jess Lee. Can you believe how gorgeous these paper flowers look!?
Hired and fabulous officiant, Kaleb Robertson. Highly recommend!

Perfect night with an even more perfect couple. So grateful for the friends I meet as a wedding photographer! <3 If you have any questions about weddings at the Gladstone, please feel free to shoot me an email! As a preferred vendor at this venue, I’d love to connect you to this epic team!
“I am so incredibly happy I was able to cross paths with Amanda (via a GTA bridal facebook group). She in an incredible photographer and my wife and I could not be happier with the service and photos we received of our wedding day.
I was coordinating / planning the wedding from out of province, Amanda was incredibly responsive and available over e-mail and telephone during the planning process. She was incredibly prepared for both the engagement and wedding shoots. She is incredibly kind, patient, and easy to work with. She had accounted for every possible scenario and arrived prepared for the wedding day (even visited the venue earlier to scoop out photography options) so that everything went off flawlessly! Her photos (both the potraits and candids) are INCREDIBLE! She sent us a sneak peak of the wedding within record time.
Both my wife and I agree, she is worth every penny and more – her photography services are second to none. I can not recommend her enough, Whatever you next major life event will be … or even for a random Tuesday you feel like commemorating – Amanda is an amazing photographer!!”
