Jessica and JT celebrated their marriage with friends and family in Vaughan after sealing the deal in Seattle and having their big wedding Tahiti. They chose to host the big party with Paradise Halls in the Prince banquet room which was perfect for the amount of guests they hosted.
The evening began with a traditional tea ceremony where Jessica and JT served their parents tea in the bridal suite upstairs. What I loved most about the ceremony was how Jessica and JT thanked their parents for everything they’ve done for them. It was so honest and sweet and I think whether you participate in a tea ceremony on your wedding day or not, starting the night off by telling your loved ones how much you appreciate them is special and a good way to set the tone of your night.
After the tea ceremony, the family made their way downstairs to take family portraits in front of this gorgeous backdrop by Wedding Dreams. The backdrop had adorable Edison bulbs, tons of greenery and their initials. Perfect for big and small groups.
Jessica and JT surprised guests with a beautiful choreographed dance and it was amazing. So elegant and fun and the way Jessica’s dress twirled and flowed was perfect. Jessica and JT are goals. They totally blew it out of the park. Me and Rob tried preparing a dance for our wedding but once Leon Bridge’s Coming Home started playing, everything we learned from our lesson was out the window.
After they danced for their guests, it was time for their guests to dance for them and holy smokes did they ever deliver! JT and Jessica have such fun friends and families. Everyone was up and dancing and I LOVE dance photos! So happy Jessica and JT included it in their coverage. Quick tip for folks planning their wedding photography with me, I only need an hour to take epic dance photos! 🕺💃
And that wraps up another epic wedding for the books. Thank you SO much JT and Jessica for having me photograph your beautiful wedding. I had THE BEST TIME! If folks reading this have questions about Paradise Halls and the Prince room specifically, feel free to shoot me a message! You really get to know a place after photographing it! 💖
